Ashwarya Rai joined film industry in the year 1997. Since then she has worked in many films, but she never signed more than four films each year although she gets on an average two offers every day. Here is the list of her films in chronological order:

• This film  was critically acclaimed but dumped by the box office. However Ashwarya worked superbly  although she was just making her debut.

• This film gave Ashwarya a perfect launch pad for her, the story was good, well directed and supported by her co-actors, Ashwarya performed effortlessly in the film, which ultimately proved a Blockbuster and a hit in the box office.
