After rocking the nation with her “Kajrare – Kajrare†and more recently the beautiful portrayal of an Indian princess in Jodha – Akbar, Aishwarya is back yet again with her latest film Sarkar Raj.
Sarkar Raj is a film by Ram Gopal Verma and a sequel to his previous film Sarkar. Sarkar Raj ventures in to the corporate world, finance, corruption, power struggle and politics. Here Aishwarya successfully emulates Rebecca Mark the vice-chairman of Enron. Ash plays Anita Rajan, an aggressive and ambitious business tycoon - she is the CEO of a power plant. She has been portrayed as a subtle yet powerful woman in this film.

I just saw Sarkar Raj and would like to say that Sarkar was a better woven film than Sarkar Raj. I personally liked the actings of all the three personalities - Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Abhishek Bachchan and Ms. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. But what kept me pondering is, was there a necessity to feature Ms. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. I felt that her role was deliberately fitted in, and this film could still have had the same effect, without her / this character.
My humble submission to Mr. Ram Gopal Verma is (no offence meant please) , such bold actors should not be misued in film for the sake of doing so, as this demeans the credibility of directors like you.
